Does each person have a learning style that is related to the way information is presented? Or is that a myth?

I like to read the abstract of Wikipedia about something. Then learn it from the source, by first skimming though the text. Then watch a simple YouTube video, then a more detailed one. And finally, if it’s practical, I read the docs and do it.
