Unfortunately I see the same issues as was the case with the covid pandemic. People don’t understand or don’t want to understand the science behind these policies They then want to believe their own truth, which gives the rise to fake news, populist parties in government and in effect polarizes our society. And in some cases, also results into violence.
Another reason why society should be more educated in the methods of science. That way, people may hopefully be able to digest new information based on empirical data and the peer-reviewed conclusions based on that.
We might be too far ahead of time with this kind of mindset, or, who knows, we may be utopianists
