I think that’s a bit too harsh. These people don’t want to see the world burn. Sure, Earth must come first, that makes sense and should be our priority. However, the space industry does develop a lot of technology that improves live here on Earth as well.
It’s funny that we’ll utilize the tech to survive on other planets to live on our own…
